Terms of service

7 Wanders is an AI travel companion: it helps you plan, refine, and run trips. It is not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking engine. It doesn't sell travel, process travel payments, or hold inventory. Every booking you make — flights, trains, hotels, tickets — happens directly with the provider, on the provider's terms.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and able to enter into this agreement. If you plan a trip that includes other people, only add details about them that they'd expect you to share.

7 Wanders' itineraries, flight and train details, fares, opening hours, entry and visa notes, and answers are generated with the help of AI and live research. They are suggestions, not guarantees. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. So, before you commit:

• •Verify times and prices with the provider when you book.
• •Verify entry, visa, and document requirements with the official government source before you travel.

7 Wanders does not provide legal, immigration, medical, or safety advice.

One more thing to be clear about: 7 Wanders' assistant is software, not a person. It can't make commitments for us — it can't grant refunds, change these terms, promise features, or enter agreements on our behalf. Only these terms and our published policies bind 7 Wanders.

7 Wanders' alarms, briefings, and notifications are planning aids, not a safety system. Whether they reach you depends on your device settings, battery, and network — things we don't control. For anything you can't afford to miss — an early train, a flight, a check-in window — set a backup alarm of your own.

Sign-in is required to plan and sync. Keep your account information accurate and your credentials to yourself. You can delete your account any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account); that removes your sign-in and server-stored trips. Signing out — or removing the app — removes the trips saved on your device; the app tells you first about any that haven't finished uploading, and everything saved to your account comes back when you sign back in.

7 Wanders offers auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time passes. Current options and prices are shown in the app before you buy. All purchases are made through Apple's App Store and are governed by your agreement with Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; manage or cancel in your App Store account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled by Apple through its standard process — including any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights you have where you live, which you exercise through Apple as the merchant of record for App Store purchases. Plan limits (such as daily assistant-request budgets and free-tier caps) are described in the app and may change.

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to extract the underlying models or keys, no automated scraping of the assistant endpoints, no use that breaks the law or the App Store terms, no reselling access. We may apply the documented request budgets and, for abuse, suspend accounts.

Your content. Your trips are yours. You give us the limited permission needed to store, sync, and process them to run the service (including the AI processing described in the privacy policy). Export your trips any time. We don't use your trip content for advertising or sell it. One honest note: 7 Wanders may generate similar suggestions for other travelers planning similar trips — your trip data is yours, but nobody gets exclusivity over generic travel ideas.

Our software and name. The 7 Wanders app, its design, and its name belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store terms allow.

Apple App Store terms. The app is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your use of the app itself; these terms govern the 7 Wanders service. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not a party to these terms — but Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce them as a third-party beneficiary with respect to your license to the app. If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the app's price (the app is free to download); Apple has no other warranty obligation.

Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve 7 Wanders without owing you compensation or credit — and you're free to keep using your own ideas too.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement) and we are not liable for travel outcomes: missed connections, denied boarding or entry, losses from reliance on generated content, missed alarms or notifications (§4), service interruptions, or events beyond our or your travel providers' control — including delays, cancellations, overbooking, strikes, and weather.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is capped at the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us through the App Store in the 6 months before the claim arose. Some places don't allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits; where the law says a limit above can't apply to you, it applies only to the extent allowed.

If your violation of these terms or your content causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the costs and damages that result.

You can stop using 7 Wanders and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end service for abuse (§7), or wind down the service with reasonable notice. If we wind down while you have unused time on a one-time pass, we'll say so with enough notice for you to use it or seek an Apple refund.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction. There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver in these terms.

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, nothing in these terms takes away protections your local consumer law makes mandatory, and where that law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home courts, you keep it.

These terms plus the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and 7 Wanders for the app. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't waived it. You can't transfer this agreement; we may transfer it to a successor that takes over the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content rights, disclaimers, disputes) survive account deletion. We send notices in the app or to the email on your account.

We'll update this page and its effective date when these terms change, and keep prior versions available from this page. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
