What 7 Wanders is

7 Wanders is a trip-planning app for trips with moving parts - multiple cities, fixed departures, shared budgets, hard deadlines. Most AI planners are inspiration engines: great at “ten charming neighborhoods in Lisbon,” useless on the question that actually breaks trips - which train, how much, will I make the ferry? You describe the trip once; 7 Wanders builds the day-by-day plan, then does the part the others skip: it checks the plan against the real world.

How it’s different: verified, not generated

AI trip planning is famous for confidently recommending trains that don’t run. 7 Wanders holds one rule instead:

The plan must never invent a train, a flight, a fare, or a border rule.

• Real departures and real fares - live-searched at planning time, verified by you when you book.
• Feasibility, not vibes - connection times and can-this-day-actually-be-done math are part of the plan itself.
• Current rules, not stale ones - schemes like EES and ETIAS move fast; where a fact can’t be verified, the plan says so instead of guessing.

The trips where logistics dominate:

• Multi-city rail trips - Europe’s pass-versus-tickets math, Japan’s post-price-hike JR Pass question.
• Hard deadlines - cruise port days and long layovers, where feasible beats nearby.
• Group trips - shared budgets and a running record of who decided what.
• True costs - including the tourist taxes the daydream budget forgets.
• The details that quietly ruin days - opening hours and closures, checked rather than assumed.

And when things change mid-trip: days reshuffle with the forecast on their own; for everything else, say what changed and the plan rebuilds from real services.

Who makes it

7 Wanders is built by Pixel Benders LLC, an independent app studio founded by two people who kept planning multi-city trips in 40 browser tabs and decided there had to be a better way. We’re small on purpose: no growth team, no ad-tech, just the product.

That independence matters in travel software. 7 Wanders isn’t owned by an online travel agency, so it has no incentive to steer you toward any one company’s inventory. The plan recommends the service that actually fits your trip.
